Police investigating reported drive-by shooting in Airdrie

Mounties are investigating a reported drive-by shooting in Airdrie on Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP say officers were called to a residential neighbourhood in the city’s southwest, near 8 Street SW and 40 Avenue SW, after getting reports of shots fired.
Investigators say they have since learned the shots came from a vehicle.
No injuries have been reported.
No suspect information has been made available. Police say more information about a suspect vehicle will be released at a later time.
Officers remain on scene and the Airdrie RCMP General Investigation Section as taken over the investigation.
