Suspect released without charges as investigation into Crescent Heights suspicious death continues

Police are continuing their investigation into a suspicious death in northwest Calgary last week and say a suspect who was arrested has been released without charges.
Emergency crews were called to a home in the 900 block of 1 Street NW on Thursday night for reports of a fight.
A man was found injured inside the home and he was rushed to hospital where he died. Officers took another man into custody but police now say that man has been released without charges.
An autopsy has been completed but the cause of death is still unknown.
“The circumstances around the victim’s death are still considered suspicious and our Homicide Unit continues to investigate,” reads a release from police.
