Drumheller man disguised jeep as police vehicle, tried to pull someone over: RCMP
A Drumheller man is facing charges after allegedly disguising his jeep as a police vehicle and attempting to pull over another driver.
RCMP say a driver reported a strange vehicle trying to pull them over around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday near Highway 9 and Highway 840, about 25 kilometres southwest of Drumheller.
It is alleged a black Jeep Patriot with red and blue flashing lights in the front window followed closely behind the driver and made an apparent attempt to stop them.

“The complainant slowed and then formed the opinion the vehicle was not a police vehicle and did not stop,” reads a release from Drumheller RCMP.
The suspect vehicle allegedly continued to follow at a close distance, and when the driver was calling police, the Jeep passed and fled the area at a high speed of more than 150 km/hr.
Officers responded to the area and stopped the suspect vehicle on Highway 9 near Drumheller.
Police searched the vehicle and found removable flashing red and blue lights, a speaker and siren system, and contraband cigarettes.
Drumheller resident Cory Clark, 43, is facing six charges including using equipment to impersonate police and dangerous driving.
