Calgary police investigate suspicious death of man found injured in Forest Lawn alley

Homicide detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a man in southeast Calgary Sunday afternoon, and are asking anyone with information to contact police.

Around 4:15 p.m. on July 14, officers were called to the 2200 block of 42 Street SE for reports that a man was found seriously injured in an alley.

EMS attended the scene and pronounced the man dead.

An autopsy is scheduled for this week to determine the man’s cause of death.

Immediately following the discovery, police stayed on scene to gather CCTV evidence and speak to potential witnesses.

Police don’t have a description of the suspect at this time.
