Calgary police recover body from Bow River, say death not suspicious

Calgary police recovered a body from the Bow River Tuesday morning, but say there is nothing to indicate the death as suspicious or criminal in nature.

In a statement to CityNews, the Calgary Police Service (CPS) says officers were called to the Graves Bridge at 1600 Glenmore Trail SE just before 6 a.m. for reports that someone had spotted a body in the water.

Following a search of the river, police are confirming a body was recovered and the medical investigator is on scene.
