Calgary’s medical examiner is looking into how a person died at the intersection of Bow Bottom Trail and Canyon Meadows Drive Wednesday night.

Around 8:30 p.m., police say a passerby found an unconscious person in the deep grass between the busy intersection and Deer Valley Mall.

When emergency crews arrived, they determined the person had died.

At this time, Calgary Police say no crime is suspected.

The area was cordoned off for some time, but was open by Thursday morning.
