Reported grizzly bear attack in Rocky View County sends 1 to hospital

A person is in serious condition after a reported grizzly bear attack that happened Sunday morning in a remote area of Rocky View County.
RCMP tell 660 NewsRadio that a report came in at around 10:15 a.m. near Range Road 34 north of Township 274
Three hunters were in the area when one of them was reportedly attacked by a grizzly bear.
An EMS spokesperson confirmed that paramedics transported one individual to the Foothills Medical Centre.
The other two had no reported injuries.
RCMP say they helped Fish and Wildlife with the initial investigation, with the latter continuing to look into the matter.
Officials have yet to confirm if the animal involved in the attack was a grizzly bear.
