Premier Smith to give keynote at energy conference in Banff

Premier Danielle Smith is in Banff Monday to speak at The Future of Energy Global Summit, a gathering of leaders and experts working to drive positive change in the energy industry.

She is set to give her keynote to the crowd at 9:15 a.m.

Topics of discussion during the conference, which runs until Tuesday at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, include hydrogen, alternative energy solutions like wind, solar, and geothermal, the future of liquified natural gas, security, A.I. and the future if energy, the future of energy finance, and new trends in nuclear energy.

The summit had its inaugural gathering last year.

Minister of Energy and Minerals, Brian Jean, is scheduled to speak during a cocktail reception and dinner at 5:30 p.m.
