A train that was moving cement through the city derailed in southeast Calgary Monday.

Fire crews tell CityNews the incident happened around 3 p.m. in the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) yard in Ogden, after dry cement spilled onto the tracks from some of the cars, impeding the train’s movement and causing some cars to derail.

All cars remained upright.

No injuries have been reported.
