Man in critical condition after NE Calgary break and enter, assault

One man is in critical condition in hospital following a break-and-enter and assault in northeast Calgary Wednesday.

Police say around 5 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Rundlehorn Circle NE for reports of a break and enter.

When police got to the home, they found a man suffering from injuries consistent with an assault.

He was taken to hospital in critical condition.

There are currently no suspects in custody.

This incident is under active investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to contact the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line at 403-266-1234 or submit a tip through CrimeStoppers.
