Suspect bear-sprayed woman while trying to steal purse at CrossIron Mills: RCMP

Mounties north of Calgary are trying to find a man who allegedly attacked a woman with bear-spray during an attempted robbery in a mall parking lot.
Airdrie RCMP say the incident happened at CrossIron Mills Mall around 3:45 p.m. on Oct. 2.
It is alleged the suspect, two female companions and a child were inside the mall and followed the victim to the parking lot.
The two females and a child got into a silver four-door sedan while the suspect bear-sprayed the victim and tried to steal her purse, according to police.
The suspect then got into the waiting silver car and the group fled the area.
RCMP described the suspect as a male wearing dark clothing, jeans and a mask, and have released photos of him, the two females and their vehicle.
