Fog advisory lifted for Calgary: Environment Canada

A fog advisory for the City of Calgary that was in place Friday morning has been lifted.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) issued an alert just after 4:30 a.m. warning of dense areas of fog with near zero visibility through the morning.

Conditions are expected to improve in the late morning.

The warning was lifted in the early afternoon.

If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights, and be prepared to stop.
