Calgary police searching for tips in NE road rage incident

Calgary police are asking for help from the public in their investigation into a road rage incident that happened earlier this month.

Investigators say between 5 and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, a woman was driving a silver Toyota 4Runner on Falconridge Drive NE, when she was cut off by a small SUV that abruptly stopped in front of her and caused her to stop.

According to police, the driver of the SUV got out of his vehicle, approached, and confronted the victim.

When a third, unknown vehicle approached the scene, the man got back in his vehicle and drove away.

Investigators believe there was a woman in the passenger seat of the SUV.

The man is described as around 45 years old with a thin moustache. At the time of the incident, police say he was wearing a black track jacket.

Anyone with information about this incident, including dashcam or CCTV footage between 5 and 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 8 around Falconridge Drive NE between Falconridge Boulevard NE and 68 Street NE, is asked to contact police or tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.
