Man in life-threatening condition after stabbing at SE Calgary home

One man is fighting for his life in hospital after a stabbing at a home in southeast Calgary on Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Walden Square SE, in the area of 194 Avenue and Walden Blvd, around 4:40 p.m. for reports of a stabbing.

Investigators say a fight broke inside the home between two men who knew each other.

Officers arrived to find a man in his 30s with stab wounds. He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics tell CityNews two other adults were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A suspect was arrested at the scene and police say charges are pending.

The investigation is ongoing.
