Two people in critical condition after being run over in Calgary casino parking lot

The Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service is urgently seeking information about a January 10 hit-and-run near Grey Eagle Casino.

Tsuut’ina Nation police are looking for information after two people were hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of the Grey Eagle Casino on Friday.

Investigators say a red Honda Accord was driving eastbound in the parking lot when it hit two pedestrians and sped away from the scene around 8:40 p.m.

The vehicle then drove south toward 37 Street SW, according to police.

The pair hit by the vehicle were taken to hospital where they are in critical but stable condition.

Police believe the car in question will have front-end damage from the collision.

Anyone who was at the Grey Eagle Casino on the evening of Jan. 10 and witnessed the incident, or anyone who has information about the location of the vehicle or driver is urged to come forward.

Investigators are also asking anyone with dashcam or surveillance footage from the area around the Grey Eagle Casino or 37 Street SW between 8:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. to look back on their recordings for any evidence of the red Honda Accord.

Those with information are asked to contact the Tsuut’ina Nation Police Service at 403-271-3777.
