A stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway has reopened east of Calgary after a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon.
RCMP said they were on scene of a crash on Highway 1 east of Gleichen, between Highway 901 and Highway 842, before 3 p.m.
No injuries have been reported.
Both the east and westbound lanes were closed for more than an hour but reopened shortly before 4 p.m.
Mounties say the road conditions through that stretch of highway are poor. Motorists are being urged to drive according to weather conditions.
