Man shot in NE home invasion, Calgary police say

A Calgary man has been charged in connection to two shootings in the city in November 2023.

It was a scary wake up for some residents in Calgary’s Greenview community after a man was shot early Wednesday morning.

Calgary police say officers responded to calls of a home invasion around 1:30 a.m. on Greenfield Road NE.

The man who was found with gunshot wounds was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to investigators.

No arrests have been made so far, as officers continue to investigate the incident.

Police say at this time, there is no safety risk to anyone in the area.
