Roads have reopened in northeast Calgary after a pickup truck and CTrain collided on Wednesday morning.

Police say officers responded to the intersection of 36 Street NE and Whitehorn Drive around 11:15 a.m. for reports of a crash.

Two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries as a precaution.

As a result, the left lanes of southbound 36 Street NE were closed for a period of time, as was a section of Whitehorn Drive NE. The roads reopened just before 12:50 p.m.

Officers are currently investigating the circumstances that led up to the collision.
