Police say a woman has been rushed to hospital after she was found with multiple stab wounds at a northwest Calgary mall Saturday.

S Sgt. John Guigon tells CityNews a woman walked into a Shoppers Drug Mart in Market Mall on 3625 Shaganappi Trail at around noon. While she was there, she passed out.

Staff called the police, and upon arrival shortly afterwards, found her with multiple stab wounds.

He says she was taken to Foothills Hospital in non-life-threatening condition.

Meanwhile, two male suspects have been arrested “without incident” after police say they were found in a nearby vehicle. Police later said the suspects “appear to be known” to the victim.

Additionally, officers are investigating a possible scene of the stabbing in the community of Montgomery.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
