Pedestrian hurt in NW Calgary hit-and-run crash

Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash in northwest Calgary on Tuesday afternoon that left a pedestrian hurt.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Rocky Ridge Boulevard NW and Rocky Ridge Gate NW around 2:10 p.m. for reports of a crash.

Calgary police say a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that did not stay at the scene. One person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Investigators believe the suspect and victim were known to each other.
