Man dead after rollover crash that closed stretch of Deerfoot for several hours

A man is dead following a vehicle rollover on Calgary’s Deerfoot Trail Tuesday morning that closed a portion of the highway for several hours.
Emergency crews were called to the northbound lanes of Deerfoot near the 8 Avenue NE overpass just before 10 a.m.
Calgary police say a single vehicle rolled under the overpass.
A man was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Northbound Deerfoot was closed between Memorial Drive and 16 Avenue NE for the investigation. The highway reopened around 1:45 p.m.
There is no word on the cause of the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
