‘Convicted felon’ poster of Donald Trump seen on Calgary bus shelter

A large poster taking pointed shots at U.S. President Donald Trump was seen plastered on a Calgary bus shelter this week.
The “Not Wanted, Convicted Felon” poster of Trump could be seen at a bus stop along 1 Street SW in the Beltline neighbourhood on Wednesday.
Along with the poster title and photo of the sitting president, a description below his picture included aliases like “Cheeto Benito,” “Putin’s Puppet,” and “Diaper Don.”
The poster also states Trump is “considered armed and dangerous for constant threats to harm and invade Canada.”
Trump triggered a trade war with Canada by imposing 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian goods and has continued with threats of using economic coercion to force Canada to become the 51st U.S. state.
It’s unclear who put up the bus shelter sign, but it comes just weeks after another bus stop in downtown Calgary had a sign plastered on it that read “Premier Trump, Province of America.”
Astral, the company that manages advertising for bus shelters, said the first incident was vandalism.
CityNews has reached out to Astral about the latest Trump poster sighting.
A House of Commons petition backed by NDP MP Charlie Angus is trying to keep Trump out of Canada ahead of the G7 Summit in Kananaskis in June.
According to petition, signatures are being collected in an effort to not allow the U.S. President into the country until he backs down from his threats that are “contrary to the well being of Canadians.”
