Calgary police are looking to identify a person of interest in a series of break-and-enters across the city.

Investigators say the break-ins happened between Feb. 26 and March 3 in the neighbourhoods of Aspen Woods, Britannia, Upper Mount Royal and Crescent Heights.

It’s believed between two and four people would break in to the second floor of the homes and once inside, would target the primary bedrooms, stealing high-value items like jewelry, watches, and clothing.

All of the incidents are thought to have happened between 6 and 10 p.m., police say.

It’s possible the victims and their homes were being watched before and during the break-and-enters, according to investigators.

Police say the estimated value of items stolen is more than $2 million.

After reviewing the CCTV footage in the area, police are hoping to identify a person of interest who they believe may have been in the area during one of the break and enters. He is described as 5’8″ tall, with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes.
