Calgary and Edmonton police charged three people in relation to a provincial drug trafficking network.
In March 2025, the District 4 Operation Team began investigating a person believed to be trafficking drugs in Calgary. Officers then identified several individuals they believe trafficked drugs in Calgary and Edmonton.
On March 15, two people were taken into custody from a home in Sovereign Common SW, west of Crowchild Trail.
Police carried out a search warrant, and say in a press release they seized around 12 kilograms of drugs, $30,000 in cash and high end jewelry and designer handbags police believe were purchased with profits from their crimes.

Edmonton police arrested someone they believed transported drugs from Calgary to Edmonton on March 15. Officers seized an additional six kilograms of methamphetamine and $4,000 in cash.
Jackson Ngo, 32, and Ngoc “Jennifer” Le, 32, were each charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime over $5,000. Ngo additionally faces one count of flight from a peace officer.
Edmontonian Adrian Hoong, 28, has been charged with one count each of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
Ngo and Le are expected to appear in court on April 2. Hoong is expected to appear in court on April 9.
“Drug trafficking fuels organized crime networks across the country,” CPS District 4 General Investigations Unit A/Staff Sgt. Jake Debolt said. “This investigation highlights how crime in Calgary can extend beyond our municipal borders and the importance of working together with our law enforcement partners to hold drug traffickers accountable.”
