Calgary police say a massage therapist and business owner is facing sexual assault charges.

Investigators say in December 2024, Cristiano Capriglioni Potamianos, a massage therapist and owner of Zen Massage in Midnapore, sexually assaulted a client during an appointment.

The person then reported the allegations to police in March 2025.

Potamianos, 45, is now facing one count of sexual assault.

He is expected to appear in court on May 12.

In Canada, there is no time limit on reporting a sexual assault. Anyone who believes they are a victim of sexual assault is encouraged to report it, even if many years have passed since the incident.

Police ask anyone with information about this or similar incidents to contact them at 403-266-1234, or submit tips anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, http://www.calgarycrimestoppers.org/ or through the P3 Tips app.
