Police have identified a man who was found dead in a northwest Calgary home earlier this week and are continuing to investigate.

Calgary police were called to a home on Carrington Crescent NW in the community of Carrington around 6:30 p.m. Monday for reports of a break and enter.

A man was found dead inside the home.

Police believe the victim broke into the home, but the reason for the break-in is still unknown.

Investigators were unable to identify the man after completing an autopsy on Wednesday and released photos, asking for the public’s help. He has since been identified.

“The death remains undetermined and the incident remains under investigation, no further information can be shared at this time,” reads a Calgary police release.

Anyone with information is being asked to call police at 403-266-1234, or submit tips to CrimeStoppers anonymously.
