Calgary police are investigating after a vehicle hit a pedestrian and left the scene Monday morning.

Investigators say it happened at 52 Street NE and 26 Avenue NE just after 10:30 a.m.

The pedestrian was left with minor injuries and was taken to hospital as a precaution, according to police.

The vehicle involved left the scene of the incident.
