Calgary firefighters were met with large amounts of smoke and flames at the back of a single-storey southeast Lynnwood home early Saturday.
The fire–with the call received by the Calgary Fire Department (CFD) at around 12:35 a.m.–happened at a home on the 100 block of Lynnwood Crescent SE.
The CFD says the second alarm blaze spread quickly from a large deck to the rear of the home, a detached garage, and a large tree.

Residents were already outside when crews arrived, the CFD said, confirming that all occupants were safe and accounted for. No injuries were reported.
The fire reportedly damaged the property of origin extensively and significantly.
The cause of the blaze is currently under investigation.
