Three people are facing charges following a crash involving a stolen truck in northeast Calgary early Tuesday morning.

Calgary police say the single-vehicle rollover happened on Deerfoot Trail and 32 Avenue NE shortly before 2 a.m.

Investigators believe a stolen truck was driving at a high speed when it lost control and rolled into the ditch.

The two men and one woman were arrested and taken to hospital with minor injuries. Police say the trio are facing a “plethora” of criminal charges, but their names won’t be released until charges are formally laid.

Police say that while paramedics were on their way to the scene their vehicle was also involved in an incident.
