No kids hurt after school bus and pickup truck collide in SE Calgary

One person has minor injuries following a collision between a pickup truck and a school bus Tuesday morning.

Calgary police say it happened around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Chapala Way SE and Chaparral Boulevard SE.

Children were on board the school bus when the incident occurred, according to police.

None of the kids were hurt and were taken to their destination by a relief school bus following the crash.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to hospital with minor injuries as a precaution.
