RCMP in southern Alberta have arrested a man who commented on a social media post advertising his crimes.
Last week, officers executed a warrant at a house in Granum after getting a tip from the public that a wanted man was inside.
On April 23, RCMP had posted to social media that 29-year-old Camron Rasmussen, of Fort MacLeod, was wanted for outstanding warrants.
Police say Rasmussen commented on his own post, “Boooo” with a ghost emoji.
He was arrested for his outstanding charges and now faces more crimes including, fail to comply with a probation order, possession of fentanyl, and possession of methamphetamine.
Rasmussen was taken into custody and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
