One child has been left with minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle in northeast Calgary Tuesday morning.

One child has been left with minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle in northeast Calgary Tuesday morning.

Police say it happened just after 8 a.m. at the intersection of Skyview Point Heath NE and Skyview Point Link NE.

The child is being taken to hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the vehicle was located nearby, according to police.
