RCMP look to identify suspect in Brooks sex assault

RCMP in Brooks are asking for help from the public to identify a suspect in a sexual assault that happened last weekend.
On May 18, around 6:45 a.m., officers say a woman was approached by the suspect near Pleasant Park.
He asked for a ride to a local gas station, and during this conversation, he sexually assaulted the victim.
Investigators say the woman was able to get into her vehicle and leave. She wasn’t injured.
The suspect is described as around 40 years old with a dark complexion, around 5’10” with a slim build, and an African accent.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a grey hoodie.
