Family reunited with young child found alone in Red Deer: RCMP

Mounties say a young child has been reunited with their family after the youth was found alone in Red Deer on Friday morning.

Red Deer RCMP say the child was found at Hunting Hills High School near 30 Avenue and 32 Street just before 9 a.m.

Officers searched the area and were unable to find the child’s family, turning to the public for help.

In an update after 7 p.m., RCMP say they found the child’s parents.
