Pedestrian has serious injuries after crash in SE Calgary

A scary scene in the southeast community of Seton Friday where a pedestrian was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car.

A pedestrian has serious injuries after they were struck by a vehicle in southeast Calgary on Friday afternoon.

Emergency crews were called to Seton Crescent SE near Seton Way SE for reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

An adult pedestrian was rushed to hospital in non-life-threatening condition, according to paramedics.

The driver involved remained at the scene.

Police remain at the scene investigating the cause of the crash.
