Calgary police searching for suspect in downtown parkade stabbing

Just before 12:30 pm, police say the man approached security guards, saying that he’d been stabbed at the top of the City Hall parkade.

Calgary police say they are searching for the suspect in a stabbing in downtown Calgary Monday.

Investigators say it happened around 12:20 p.m. on Macleod Trail SE, near Olympic Plaza.

A man approached security guards in the area and told them he had been stabbed.

It’s believed the incident happened on the top floor of the city hall parkade.

According to police, the man was left with non-life threatening injuries and was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Officers have yet to find the suspect, described as a white man, about 5’10” tall, wearing a mask, and a grey and black hoodie.
