RCMP looking for man who ripped pride flag from High River home

Police in High River are looking to track down the man responsible for stealing a pride flag.

Mounties south of Calgary are looking for a man who allegedly stole a pride flag from a home in High River.

RCMP say they began investigating after residents in south east High River reported having a displayed pride flag taken from their front porch on Sunday night.

Security footage released by police shows a male suspect approach the home around 11 p.m.

RCMP allege the video shows the man make a ‘Sieg Heil’ gesture before ripping a flag from the porch railing. The suspect makes an alleged “rude gesture” as he walks away from the home, according to police.

Police described the suspect as a male with a slender build who was last seen wearing a light-coloured hoodie and dark pants.
