Arrest made after assault in NE Calgary road rage incident: police

Calgary police have made an arrest following a suspected road rage incident that led to an assault in the city's northeast on Monday morning.

An arrest has been made after a victim was assaulted in a road rage incident in the city’s northeast Monday, Calgary police said.

It happened just before 9 a.m. on the 0-100 block of Martinvalley Way.

Officers say the victim is believed to have been injured with a weapon following the incident.

Meanwhile, police say the victim is being assessed by EMS and is in stable condition.

A suspect is in custody, but no further details have been provided.
