Alberta RCMP arrest man in $20k Pokemon card theft

By The Canadian Press

RCMP in Fort McMurray say they’ve made an arrest after a man said some of his property went missing during a recent move, and the items apparently turned up for sale on Facebook Marketplace.

The missing property included multiple sets of collectible of Pokemon cards, valued at $20,000 dollars.

Police say the man reported the issue to the moving company, and the company was co-operative with the investigation.

Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in Fort McMurray last week, and a 43-year-old man now faces multiple charges.
