Macleod Trail pedestrian crash under investigation: Calgary police

A crash involving a pedestrian on Macleod Trail in south Calgary on Friday is under investigation after a stretch of the highway reopened early Saturday.

Emergency crews were called to the northbound lanes of Macleod approaching 162 Avenue SW around 9:45 p.m. for a collision.

Calgary police say a vehicle and a pedestrian were involved in the crash.

No injury information has been made available at this time.

Northbound Macleod Trail was closed between Stoney Trail and 162 Avenue SW for the investigation. Police reopened it after 1 a.m.
