Arrest made after SE Calgary hit-and-run injures 2

Two people suffered minor injuries in a hit and run involving several vehicles in Calgary's southeast Saturday night.

Calgary police apprehended a suspect after two people suffered minor injuries in a southeast hit-and-run involving several vehicles Saturday.

It happened on Ash Crescent in the Southview area around 10:30 p.m.

Police say a silver truck described as a Ford F-150 smashed into three parked cars.

One of them was occupied.

According to Calgary police, the injuries were superficial, and no one was taken to the hospital.

However, after finding a vehicle not believed to be the offending one, a suspect was taken into custody.

Officers are investigating alcohol as a possible factor in the incident and are seeking the vehicle involved.
