Pedestrian hit by CP train in NE Calgary

The Calgary Police Service’s Traffic Unit and CP Rail are investigating after a person was hit by a train in the northeast early Tuesday morning.

Police say it happened just after 1 a.m. on Country Hills Boulevard NE.

No information has been provided as to the condition of the pedestrian.

Investigators later said the incident was mental health related.

No further information is expected.
