Pedestrian in NW Calgary crash upgraded to stable condition

The condition of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle in Calgary’s northwest Thursday evening has improved.

Emergency crews were called to 32 Avenue NW near the University of Calgary around 7:30 p.m. for reports of a crash.

Police say the collision involved a vehicle and a pedestrian. The driver remained at the scene.

The pedestrian was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, but has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Their injuries are now considered to be non-life threatening and non-life altering.
