One person dead after being struck by CTrain in NE Calgary

One person is dead after they were struck by a CTrain in northeast Calgary on Wednesday evening.
Emergency crews were called to the intersection of 36 Street and 26 Avenue NE near Rundle Station around 7:30 p.m. for reports of a train hitting a pedestrian.
Police say a male pedestrian was rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition and succumbed to their injuries.
The intersection of 36 Street and 26 Avenue NE is closed for the investigation.
Calgary Transit says Red Line trains are not stopping at Rundle Station. Shuttle buses are being called in to service Rundle, Whitehorn, and Marlborough stations.
