Police in Airdrie are looking for a suspect in the armed robbery of a convenience store in November.
RCMP say shortly before 2 a.m. on Nov. 22, RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at the 7/11 on Yankee Valley Boulevard.
The employee reported that a man armed with a knife entered the store, showed it to the employee, and demanded money from the till.
Investigators say he left the store and ran west.
No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as a lean male just under six feet tall, young and possibly Caucasian. He was wearing a black and white mask with an animal design on it, a light grey hoodie with a black vest over it, black jeans, and runners (possibly dark grey with white stripes and a white sole).
The knife used was described as a utility pairing knife with a brown handle. The blade was around three to four inches long.
RCMP also believe a vehicle was involved. It’s thought to possibly be a Mitsubishi Mirage or a Hyundai Elantra GT, red in colour.
