Investigation underway after Porsche crashes into parked vehicles in Calgary Renfrew: police

By CityNews Staff

Calgary police are investigating after a Porsche Cayenne lost control on a residential street in northeast Renfrew early Sunday morning.

Staff Sgt. Mike Kelm confirmed the incident happened along the 900 block of Remington Road at around 5:30 a.m.

A 660 NewsRadio listener, who didn’t want to be named, watched the incident unfold on his home security camera footage.

He says the Porsche hit several parked vehicles and slid down the road. As it did, it lost a wheel, spun repeatedly along about a half block and came to rest by a snowbank.

He said before it was even fully stopped, people were bailing. Kelm confirmed 4-6 people fled the vehicle on foot.

The investigation is ongoing, and no other details are available.
