SUV flips in Blackfoot Trail crash in SE Calgary; police investigating

Traffic was disrupted early Thursday afternoon after a crash left a vehicle flipped onto its roof in southeast Calgary.
Emergency crews were called to the northbound lanes of Blackfoot Trail and 85 Avenue SE around 1:13 p.m. after an SUV and a sedan collided.
The crash left the SUV flipped onto its roof.
Images from the scene showed a child’s car seat lying on the roadway beside the overturned SUV. Officials have not confirmed whether a child was inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Paramedics say no one was hurt.
Investigators are still working to determine what led to the collision.
The left and centre lanes of northbound Blackfoot Trail are closed, with only the right lane remaining open to traffic.
