Several shots fired into NE Calgary home in targeted shooting: police

Calgary police are investigating what they say was a targeted shooting in the city’s northeast Thursday night.
Officers were called to a home on Tarawood Lane near Tarawood Grove around 10 p.m. after reports of shots fired in the area.
Investigators say several rounds were fired into the house.
No one was home at the time and no injuries have been reported.
The offenders left the scene before police arrived.
No arrests have been made.
As the incident is believed to be targeted, police say there is no additional risk to the public.
Investigators are working to collect CCTV footage from the area and are gathering information from witnesses.
Members of the public who have information about the incident are asked to call the Calgary Police Service non-emergency line.
