Driver arrested after vehicle flips in downtown Calgary crash

A driver is in custody after a crash in downtown Calgary that ended with damage to parked cars and a vehicle on its roof.

Calgary police were called to the intersection of 9 Avenue SW and 10 Street around 2:12 p.m. for reports of a vehicle hitting parked cars.

Emergency crews assessed the driver for minor injuries.

They were taken into custody. Police have not released details regarding potential charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
