Stabbing in SW Silverado sends 1 to hospital: Calgary police

One person is in custody after a stabbing sent another to hospital in the southwest Silverado area on Tuesday, Calgary police said.

They say officers responded to the incident at around 6:30 a.m. in the 10-100 block of Silverado Saddle Crescent SW.

EMS says the victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, officers say a suspect has been taken into custody, adding that the two are known to each other.

The investigation is ongoing.
